Meet Marga White, PhD

Why I Tutor

My path to this work started twice. Once, early on, out of a lifelong love of learning and teaching. Then again, years later, as a parent watching my own two sons navigate the same school system I now help other families through. I know what it feels like to watch a kid shut down in a class, and how much lighter a household feels once that particular stress lifts. Both of my sons went on to graduate from the University of Washington and build careers they love, which is proof that a hard stretch in math doesn't have to define anything.

Above all, I'm a confidence builder. My goal every session isn't just a better grade. It's a student who leaves believing they can actually do this. That shift is why I still do this work.
